Hey there guys.

With the successful introduction of the new Surgery rules at Promised Land i heard several people making suggestions on how they can be improved for the next event.

So, to the question. What was the opinion of the Surgery Rules, and what changes would you, as players like to see introduced?

Please note, while we do value your feedback, no decision as to changes will be made on the board. But feedback is always useful to let us know where we are going right and where we are going wrong.

I like the surgery. I agree that it should take time but maybe more cards with shorter time scale son would vary the length of the surgery.

The suggestions I've heard so far are

make the "it doesn't work cards" for only a couple of minutes instead of five or so.

Add in vitals failing role play resus

and you need to have a ref around for the "complications" cards. I was ok with mine in the end but if it had been anything else it may have had to have been role played at the time which would ahev been a tricky 30 minutes after it was all over and a ref came back to camp..

however it got the thumbs up from me.

I liked the surgery cards but I also think the “not finished yet cards” could be a touch shorter even if they were only shortened by a minute each and I think that an extra successful card could be added. The chance of ending up having to visit the reffs was one in three if you added an extra success card that would make it one in four and I think that would be better.
