Le Matt 'blaster' conversion project- This is a project I am undertaking as part of my SINergy (cyberpunk) involvement, but it seemed to me to be the sort of thing that might be of interest here too!

Hello people...
I'm undertaking a scratch build project to produce my own 'cyberpunk' handgun.
Starting from sketches to the creation ~ just wonder whether you would like it if I documented the process on this forum?
I'm starting the sketches today, and can scan up the ideas.

Part One - the basic model
I have chosen to base my model on an already existing replica gun. Although this isn't really 'scratch' building then, I do intend to do enough re-modelling to make this a good 'beginners' project.
I chose the Le Matt revolver replica because it will give the finished model a nice 'Steampunk' look.
...And here's the start of a quick sketch I was doing on how I might modify the gun...
It's not quite right - though I am mainly concentrating on how I can get some old radio valves into design (I havent really thought what to do with the barrel area yet). I am sure the final design will change a lot!
