Concering Guns..Hi, new hopefull player here.One question to start - you mention replica guns being used - are cap guns ok too? Or blank firers? Or do we just shout bang?

Da Rules say: "Ranged weapons must be non-firing replicas, BB-guns or blank firing. Guns must not have any batteries, ammunition, blanks or other such items installed whilst on site." Then later on: "Toy guns are permitted if they are of a sufficient quality and scale to avoid breaking the atmosphere of the game; no water pistols or poor quality plastic toys." So basically ... yes, and yes. If you use a blank firer they're not allowed to be loaded, so you just shout 'bang'. (Although not 'Bang' as that's an actual in-game call, and indicates you're firing without hitting anyone )
By the way, I can't find this anywhere in the rules, but I think even caps are discouraged on the basis that it may interfere with people hearing your damage call. |

I read the at work, and couldn't dl and read the books till I got home.
