Booking worries...Hey all! How the devil is everyone?
Right, just a bit of a worry. A teeny, mouse like one really. More of a mild concern. Now, I have every intention of playing the upcoming event, I've got me gun polished and everything. But the poblem with living here in Ireland is that work is seasonal; I'm a barman right now, but by the time the event runs I'll no doubt be something else, as said bar will be closed over the winter.
As I have no idea what, much less where, who with and why, its a triffle difficult to book the time off. What I was wondering was this; if it turns out that I can't make it after all, is it possible to pass on the booking to someone else, assuming it goes and gets itself fully booked?
All this will be rather pointless if I can't sort out a way of paying said booking, mind you. Bags of cash in the post are generally frowned upon, but I'm bank accountless right now...
It shouldn't be a problem, in the end. Ireland is very family-centric, so I can always go to visit my sick mother for a week. I can see my mother being plenty sick over the roleplay season...

I obviously can't comment on employment law or custom, especially not in another country - but I am in a similar state.
However, I plan to tell my future employer that I already have that weekend booked away, and I won't be available for work then - I'm happy to take it as unpaid leave, or from whatever allowance I get, or just have no shifts booked for then but either way I'll not be in.
As for no bank account to send payments from.... I can't help with that one, especially as you'd need to change the currency anyway!

Fully booked eh? Well, a solution to said worries, though not the one I was after...
Ah well, c'est la vie. I'll still do me damnable best to be there as crew, so hopefully I'll see you all there!
