Can anyone recommend a good source of (relatively cheap) medical props? By preference I'd like to go for something quite "sci-fi" in appearance so there's no possible confusion with a genuine kit. I can obviously figure out where to get adhesive patches and the like, I'm thinking more along the lines of non-disposable items like surgical or diagnostic equipment.

One of our crew (new crew btw!) is going full on Surgeon, and is converting a glue-gun to look like that dope gun Simon has on the series. Then, as my mum is a paediatric nurse I'm just going to get her to give me some spare little vessels and plastic syringes (no needles).
Failing that, it depends how futuristic/core world you want to go. I think our medic is just going to go with stethoscope for diagnosis equipment.
