Just a heads up to let everyone know Regalos is giving some mighty fine prices to clear their replica stock before October.
Of particular interest is the Engraved Winchester found towards the bottom of the page, now available for £50 plus postage.

Hi folks,
As I'm sure most of you are aware, the violent crime reduction bill that comes into effect as of 01/10/07 will stop the sales of replica firearms in the UK. Depressing.
However, having been browsing battleorders website I found this gem on their info section:
However from the first of October Battle Orders can only supply replica guns with a design dating before 1870 [this covers most of the western guns] other models will have to be painted in bright colours. For example: the Luger P08 picture shown here is our original replica brightly painted in yellow!!!! The home office have kindly allowed us several bright colours such as pink, purple, green and red. All these can be applied as an overpainted coat onto the original gun blue finish. Seemingly we can also supply television, films and organizations such as re-enactment societies. So if you sign up as a member of a re-enactment society you will be able to to buy the guns in the original finish. The complete Act runs to many pages and can be viewed at www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts2006/ukpga obviously here at Battle Orders we have done much research including contacting lawyers so that we can continue with our 30 years plus business. In essence if we are offering items on our website you can buy them in complete confidence that they are legal for you to buy and own. "So if you keep buying here at Battle Orders We'll Keep Supplying" I apologise again for all the confusion and of course like many of our valued customers here at Battle Orders we dont think this ill thought out Act will reduce violent crime anymore successfully than banning real guns did for crimes commited with illegal firearms. If you like a copy of a relevant section of the Act please send a large self addressed envelope to me here at Battle Orders and I will make sure you get a copy. Thank you for your time in reading this and your continued support and interest in Battle Orders. A further piece of information for you is that since September 2005 I have a company registered as Battle Orders Re-enactment Society Ltd. Our Memorandum & Articles of Association state we are able to register re-enactors for the purpose of providing re-enactment throughout the ages. By purchasing any item from Battle Orders you automatically become a member of the Battle Orders Re-enactment Society. There are no fees and at present of course no responsibilites attached to this for you. However if you wish to be removed from the register this can be arranged upon notification. However please note you will not be able to purchased realistic immitation firearms in their original finish. Again if you have any concerns please don't hesitate to contact us.
This would suggest that Battleorders will still sell replicas that aren't in overly bright colours and all real looking. Woot!
