So what sort of physreps have people used in the past for light armour specifically?

As for instance the balistic mesh seen in the series could just be a wooly vest worn under clothing rather than the more common flackvests of modern construction.

True, although I would suggest (not admittedly being a ref) that it should at least *look* like balistic mesh when viewed driectly, as opposed to being a "magic" woolly jumper.

The majority of people in the system who wear armour wear flak jackets, although I agree that they are mostly overly military types. I'll be using a MOLLE webbing vest at next event, which has no balistic protection IRL whatsover , but looks the part.

How would the refs feel about say butchers chain which is very lightweight but metal etc being used to simulate balistic mesh?
