Hi, I'm jo and me and a few friends (and i am trying to convince more) are thinking of coming to the next event, I just have a few questions if anyone would be so kind as to answer them.
On the friday roughly what time does everything start? and only when do things end on Sunday?
Do es a crew have to have their own IC tent for a ship?
I'm sure there was more but it is late and i am tired, so just those!
Thanks in advance.

Events usually Time In around 8-9pm and Time Out is 2pm on the Sunday, though these times are often subject to faff.
Crews are not required to phys. rep. their ships, though you are welcome to do so. Ships are usually considered to be outside of the IC area. _________________ Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy, and we... shall... have... peace. |

So is it assumed that any IC areas we set up forf outrselves are exactly as they appear so tents etc?
Also can you gain access easily to your ship if needs be for instance if we have cargo that we pick up or drop off, most of the time it is in the ship and therefore "safe" or wouldit have to be in the IC area so it can be stolen? |

There's a bit of common sense and bit of fair play in that one.
Generally a large cargo is pretty secure in a ship, smaller items may be better protected where you can see them. Certainly really large cargo is considered to be dealt with 'off camera' for ease of phys-repping.
Actually accessing your ship is easily done unless circumstances state otherwise. Be sure to check in with a ref beforehand just incase there are important things you may notice and so we can keep a track of who is leaving the IC area.
As for tents, yes, what you see is what you get. The nice thing about being a futuristic setting is that pretty much anything goes with regards to tents and camp furniture. _________________ "I aim to misbehave..." |

On the subject of new players with questions, who would I need to talk to about a guild? What guilds are there already in place? How do I create a new guild if the one I want doesn't exist? _________________ I used to think my brain was the most important thing about me, but look what told me that! |

"What guilds are there already in place?"
Off the top of my head, Companions, Traders, Miners, Mercenary Liason Board and Blue Sun.
"How do I create a new guild if the one I want doesn't exist?"
Financial backing from the majority of the industries stakeholders. But all guilds stated as cannon are available for player membership. _________________ "I aim to misbehave..." |

Each event is at a different location, so there's nothing "planetside" that you need to worry about. Send us your group concept and we can discuss it to make sure that you'll find plenty of business; most group are generic traders/cargo haulers though some specialise in, say, mercenary or bounty-hunting contracts or fast courier jobs.
